BankrStrategy V2 โ Security Incident & Deprecation
Status: RETIRED / DEPRECATED
BankrStrategy V2 suffered a security breach in February 2025. The signing wallet was compromised, resulting in loss of control over several contracts including the 1% dev fee recipient. While the token and core mechanics (8% NFT floor sweeper, 1% holder rewards) remain functional, the project is deprecated until V3 launches with improved security architecture.
What happened: Private key exposure in public GitHub repo led to $4,383 theft and permanent loss of contract ownership. Automated bot prevents recovery of mainnet contracts.
Current status: Token still trades, sweeper still works, but no active development. V3 will use multi-sig + upgradeable patterns.
